Description
The chaat variants are all based on fried dough, with various other ingredients. The original chaat is a mixture of potato pieces,, chickpeas and tangy-salty spices, with sour dried ginger and tamarind sauce, fresh green coriander leaves and yogurt for garnish, but other popular variants included Aloo tikkis or samosabhel puri, dahi puri, panipuri, dahi vada, papri chaat, and sev puri.
Our pappadi chaat is made of flat round crackers, filled with mashed potato, chopped onions, chopped tomatoes, bhoondhi (round soft murukku) coriander leaves as dressing. Its served with 2 kind of sauces which is salty mint sauce and sweet tamarind sauce.
